White River Canyon Ridge
Mt. Hood, Oregon , February 10, 2008
Fourteen of us went out on this trek from the White River sno-park. There was some light rain
falling but it quickly stopped as we went along the Yellowjacket trail. We soon left the trail and
made our way along the ridge in one foot deep consolidating snow (atop a ten to twelve foot base).
We went to the 5,300 foot level and stopped for lunch out of the wind at the edge of the canyon.
We returned on the path we came up and got back to the cars in about a RT time of three hours.
