White River Ridge
Mount Hood, OR -- 1/10/09
Twenty four people joined me on this trek out of the White River sno-park. We left
the cars and headed onto the Yellowjacket trail and then meandered up to the ridge
and followed it to the treeline at 5,256 feet (about two miles in). We took a break and
enjoyed the views. We returned to our cars via our tracks. 3 hours total, 1,040 ft. gain.
The new snow was about 6-9 inches on top five feet or so of consolidated snow.
I took the pictures with prefix CIMG, Daniel took the rest (prefix WhiteRiver).
