South Route via Falls Creek trail and Moraine Lake -- August 23, 2009

Eight of us summited the mountain on a beautiful day. We started at 6:15 am at the Falls Creek trail

head and turned off to Moraine Lake at approx. 2 miles. From the lake, we then went up to the

"Golf Course" and joined the south trail to the summit. We spent an hour and a half at the top and

then returned down on the same route. It was a lot more difficult than I remembered it being.

Our total distance was almost 14-1/2 miles and we got back to our cars at 6:45 pm -- a long day!
