Dead Horse Rim loop

Dead Horse State Park, Utah -- Sept 26, 2010

We hiked a six mile loop on the Dead Horse plateau at 6,000 feet (2,000 feet above

the Colorado River). We started at the visitor center and hiked clockwise

near the rim. The park road bisects this loop, so that we ran into sightseers at

some of the areas where the road and trail came close together at major viewpoints.
